He told me some rules you gave them and they are indeed very good. You motivated them to study and he was proud he can do your work and read words. Do let me know what I can do at home to help. I've written out all the words in the textbooks and I let him read and recognise the words frequently. Thank You Jenn

Subject: Re: Melis' progress From: judy Date: Tue, January 31, 2012 6:15 pm To: info@mylulaoshi.com Hi Lu laoshi, Happy Lunar New Year! Thanks for your valuable feedback. For your info, that's how Melis is- lazy and not self-motivated. She needs to be pushed even to do her school homework! If she's paying attention in your class, it means that she's enjoying your lesson. That's what she feeds back to me- lesson's very enaging and interesting and that she's very comfortable in your home. (No wonder she's not complaining about the long 4.5 hrs!) Btw, she hates to learn Chinese, that's why I really appreciate what you've done so far and would like to thank you for that! I hope that you can encourage and motivate her because whatever you say is more effective than mine. I'll, on my part, continue to 'push' her. Thanks very much once again! Warmest regards, Judy ps-can you make her jot down the homework in her little notebook?
